Dev Remarks:
I want to create adult games that stand on their own, even without the porn. An interesting story, comparable gameplay to well known RPGs, and quality art. That is my commitment.

Humans are near extinct. Only a few remain, living in isolation. Those that are found are used for slave labor, pleasure, or worse. Orcs, Lycans, Drakes, and other various creatures would love to get their hands on one. Luccia will find out what happened, stop the extinction, and repopulate the human race (some mixing may occur!)

1. Extract and run.

New save location in game folder under resources/save

1. Additional story and scenes. Most notably, cutscenes and dialogue between missions and some amplification into the main characters back story. Existing levels have also been updated.

2. Attack Elements. – I Have implemented a means where players can add Ice, Fire, or Lightning elements to their physical attack. This also involves the implementation of a “Combat Menu” (don’t worry, it is not command based) to do so. Each element change costs 1 orb, and adds that specified element to Luccia’s physical attack for about 10 seconds (time pending balance). Different enemies will be able to have their weaknesses exploited. Further, you will be able to tell if you hit the weakness based on visual and auditory feedback, which should be pretty obvious.

3. Heavy attacks – Holding <- and Z will have Luccia wind up a Heavy physical swing that uses 1 orb and heavily damages the enemy. The heavy attack also benefits from whatever element is active.

4. Combat animations for victory, heavy attacks.

6. And also, I have unlocked the next level, which will be a platformer. Lorestone scenes will unlock, but will not yeild anything until I finish that part.

7. Optimization and efficiency. Bug fixes.

8. fixed an issue where the wolf sprite will duplicate when during Level 7

9. Fixed a bug where, After beating orcasuarus you can’t talk with him any more. This questline still is not finished, so you cannot advance in his story until later.

10. Fixed an issue where it locks you in place when you choose no for the world map or for giving bones to Grumez, and then it asks you again till you choose yes

11. Save loading crashes are less of a bug and more of an issue with old saves being found in your users/appdata folder. Saves should be located inside of the game folder now.

12. Removed a bug where if you Press ESC, select ‘MAIN MENU’, and press ESC again, then the popup will stuck there.

Today I am updating both the public and spicy versions of Heavy Hearts.

THIS IS A TECH UPDATE / STORY UPDATE. It features the same lewd content as in 0.3.0

This is all based on the feedback you guys have brought to me over the past month or so. I thought it was very important to ensure that you all got this update as soon as I thought it was ready.

Here is a list of changes:

-Fixed issue where Lorestones would lag slightly between paragraphs

-Added age check to start of game

-PRETTY SURE I fixed that problem where keyboards are unresponsive in exploration.

-Modified base font. Fixed some problems with readability

-Modified accessibility of PAUSE menu, along with keybinding. ESC now brings up menu and does not switch screenres.

-F11 now switches between fullscreen and windowed mode.

-Added additional functionality to the pause menu. Including volume control settings, manual save/load, and main menu reset.

-Patched out an annoying issue where the Plant enemies that drain poise stunlock the player, forcing them to restart.

-Added Currency to the game, collectible during explo’s. Also, combat treasure chests give currency as well.

-Currency can be viewed in the inventory menu -Added some Bust dialogue scenes to the end of each of the levels.

-Added an exploration to the cave level.

-There is a superboss in the Cave level, accessible once you find the 3 wisps in the cave. YOU CANNOT BEAT THE SUPERBOSS. But if you are curious what it is like, you can attempt. When you lose, you will not lose much progress.

– You can now skip the tutorial invasion. If its your first time, i do not recommend doing so.

-Gave the Orc Giant a rare item drop change, plus a guaranteed 1000g reward. This is not going to be the final game reward.

-Grumaz now has some Dialogue once you collect enough ingredients. For now, he only gives you 1000g, but in future updates, this will advance his questline.

-Fixed some additional text issues with certain lorestones.

-Fixed some camera issues in the Orc Villa

-Fixed some performance issues in the Grove and Orc Villa explorations

-“Heart of Stone” Mechanic is a placeholder for now. Players can find Hearts of Stone to advance the relationship level with teammates, indicated by the particles surrounding the Heart (Feathers=Rhed, BlueHeart=Luccia)

-Other minor bugfixes (edited)

————–FEB 11 2022—————-

1. Inventory is now made clear. As you pick up items, it will reflect in the inventory as always, but now players know it exists (oops). Press I or TAB to open the inventory when not paused.

2. Replaced the old Orc encounter with Cheka’s art! Cheka is still animating some of it, so it will be expanded in 0.3.1. As for the old stuff, see 5.

4. Added Gallery. After completing the Orc Villa, Luccia’s old “house” will now be open. Return to the Grove (the first exploration level) and instead of moving forward, go backward and you will see her house. Interact with the Chair.

5. “Old Orc Encounter”, along with other discarded hentai animations are available in the gallery.

6. Addition of Level 6, Gossamer Luna – which is a flappybird minigame along with a werewolf area. There is not TOO much to do here yet. The reason is that we want to get Level 7 and 8 done quicker, because there is more Hentai associated with those ones. (dont worry- there is werewolf content planned)

8. De-pixelized earlier H scenes. They should reflect a little better quality now.

9. Game is playable with a mouse! The game will not directly advertise this, though. You can do combat with the mouse, explore with the mouse, everything — but pathfinding is relatively poor, and I am not sure how to make it better (yet).

10. Controller support is implemented, but may require you to rebind the keys with F1.

11. Added prompt to show players you can run. Got alot of notes saying that they didn’t know you can run!

12. Change context of some lines in TDGTOMK & Orc encounter. In order to ensure that we were in compliance with terms and policies of our hosting site, he had to change some of the lines spoken during the hentai encounters. We may consider making a “hardcore” version available to subscribestar supporters, but for now we are saving the old lines for the time being.

12. Changed combat dialogue system to something more streamlined and will not hang the games progress if not actuated.

13. Busts! There are now busts for the important dialogue in the game. I hope you like them! I know I do

Developer Notes:

– Normal attacks build the ATB gauge (called NRG). Each filled gauge adds a Combat Orb to your Hud, which can be used for abilities. With each orb, you can charge Magic a level, and blast enemies away.

-STAGGER! Run out of HP and you die, but run out of Poise and you will be put into a staggered, vulnerable state.

-The gameplay is optimized for Keyboard use. Mash Z=Attack, Hold X=Magic, C=Block.

-Combat and exploration can be played with a mouse. Mouse support while in Exploration mode has very limited pathfinding.

-Time your blocks correctly and you can counterattack
